The Mia Crossbody Bag is the perfect everyday bag — stylish, functional, and surprisingly fun to sew! In this class, you’ll learn how to create a beautifully structured crossbody bag with thoughtful details and plenty of room for customization.

Students will learn techniques including working with zippers, attaching hardware, creating adjustable straps, and sewing multiple layers for a polished finish. This class is great for confident beginners and intermediate sewists looking to build bag-making skills while creating a practical piece you’ll actually use every day.

By the end of class, you’ll leave with your very own handmade Mia Crossbody Bag and the confidence to tackle more bag projects in the future.

All materials are provided — just bring yourself and enthusiasm to learn!

Class Length: 1.5-2 hours

Age : 15 years old and up

Class Cost: $95 per person

Class Level:  confident beginners or beginners who have never touched a sewing machine before but are eager to get started.

All supplies are included in this class. 

• You're welcome to choose your own fabric for your project! Just be sure to stop by Silly Daisy any time—at least 15 minutes before class begins—to pick your favorite. If you’re not able to swing by, no worries! We’ll have a pre-cut fabric option ready for you.
• Each class includes a complimentary studio rental session (up to 3 hours), which you’re welcome to use within one month of your class during our open studio hours. Just give us a call or stop by Silly Daisy to schedule your time!
